Here's an update for this non-photorealistic renderer. It now supports Max 2018, among other things.

No changelog per se, but you can read about the 'new' things in the 'Main Features' section of this page:
    https://www.psoft.co.jp/en/product/pencil/3dsmax/

Completely over my head, so just one of their samples from me. It's a Speedy Gonzales even on my laptop!

I wish someone would crack and share it as $600 is a bit too high for my pocket;(

    The v4.00 supports 2015-2018.
The v3.10 supported up to 2016 but I only had a demo and I never finished the fix.
v3.09 supported up to 2015 but it could probably run in 2016 (the 2013/2014 and 2015/2016 pairs, are mostly compatible). But the 3.09 I had, was a demo too and not cracked.
The previous retail I had come across (v3.08) supported up to 2014.

So you need 3.09 at a minimum, or better 3.10 and above to be certain for Max 2016 support.

And here's a modified Max 2018 version to make it work under Max 2019.
Got to put some more options in the Max panel :)

And how did you manage to make the 2018 version work with 2019? Been trying to myself but yeah I ain't really smart. Or is this something you don't wish to provide for any manner of reasons. Just curious so I can properly give up and just keep with the 2018 max.

try this link which I found on a random site (the original link went to a dead page so I edited the url), it has plugins for 2015, 16, 17 & 18

note: Norton flagged all plugins as ws 1 reputation but I see this as a false positive

Stll been trying find out how to make this work with 2019 but I'm guessing I cant without knowing how to modify files themselves. Its a nifty tool that made Cartoon/Anime rendering super easier for me, its a shame I can't support them by paying the 700$ they ask for. I have a hard time even supporting V-ray my favorite renderer off of a student loans and low paying jobs. I wish I was a millionaire.
