I skipped the first release of v8 figuring the R25 was around the corner, and I was lucky (saved some time).
    No extra protection tricks either.

Changelog for the first two v8 releases:

    corona v8 (2021-09-15):

    Added:
    Added support for R25
Added polygon mode to UVW Randomizer and Multi Shader
    Added support for vector displacement
Added tail parameter to Physical material
Controls the strength of reflection outside of the reflection peak
Corona node editor now supports drag&drop from new Cinema 4D Asset Browser
    Changed:
    Removed "Per-pixel TEA" random sampler
Changed UI for setting render time limit in render settings to resolve problems in various C4D versions
    ================
    corona v8 (2021-08-16):
    Fixed:
Fixed conflict with some other renderers caused by usage of the same dependency libraries
Fixed problem with Corona Bitmap not working with absolute paths in R14
Fixed problem with material library download occasionally not starting when installing on macOS
Note: all changes in this build will be released in a v7 hotfix, so this is more of a hotfix preview than actual v8 daily build.

You are so wonderful, a real hero perhaps if you only shared....

That's true . What's the point of showing us the novelties you crack. To make us drool. You are happy . Do you want to show us that you are smart? That you are a super computer scientist, that you are always ahead. Frankly I do not see. Maybe that turns you on

At least you didn't use the "real hero" argument :)

A point answer since it's too early to do any useful work:

-- It's true for the "real hero" argument types.
-- The point is that this is a News Section. You want cracks, try another section.
-- I don't care if anybody drools (I do too sometimes), but to drool for software that one day you will get for free or buy it, is silly.
-- I'm not happy in particular but that's my problem. Concerning the 'novelty' software, I'm filling my time to keep the grey cells functioning. When they stop responding and I still have the urge to do something with this stuff, I'll join the club and start stealing from active crackers. Hopefully I'll croak before I get that low.
-- No need to show anybody that I'm smart. I am comfortably smart in what I do best, and others are also smart in whatever they do best. In this day and time, it would be tricky to find anybody who's not very good at something.
-- I am (was) a computer scientist that tried to keep abreast (not always successfully). Shoot me if you don't like it.
-- If you don't see it, that's your problem, not mine.
-- Turned on by software? Heaven forbid I'd get to that point. My wife would kill me :)

Yep. Of your middle emoji type (though I have no idea of what the leftmost one means).

    Fresh update...

    corona v8 (2021-10-29)

    Added:

Corona Sky now supports dome mapping
Added include/exclude list to specify which object should (not) receive caustics. You can find it in the performance tab of render settings
    See example image h**ps://corona-renderer.com/comparer/CGCGN8
Added OIDN feature pre-denoising (OIDN 1.4.0 new feature)
    See example image h**ps://corona-renderer.com/comparer/GTGm2s
Added partial support for vrmesh proxy files
Please note that the current implementation of our vrmesh loader is limited in a way that it can load only proxies containing a single mesh. This will be extended with full support later

    Fixed:

Fixed bug when rendering gets extremely slow and memory consumption gets very high in some special cases by adding limit to the number of splits per path
Fixed dark spots when lights are invisible to reflection
Fixed occasional crash when rendering shader previews in Corona node material editor
[REGRESSION] Fixed light leaks in UHD and 4K caches

I was excited, then depressed when I saw it was your post knowing there would not be any share.
