    Changelog (2020-09-11):

    Added support for R23
    Added experimental support for R23 Scene Nodes


    Surprising to see R23 support showing up in v7 but I suppose it takes too much work to fully integrate it in.
    I'd guess that a v6 hotfix should also be out in a couple of weeks.

    As it stands now, the fix for v7 (depending what you use of course), uses the exact same offsets as in the v6 final.

    Another update with a few fixes.

    The changes have also been ported to the latest v6 Hotfix 1 so the v6 and v7 are on par at the moment. Use whichever you like.

    Changelog 2020-10-03:

    Fixed:
    Creating Corona proxy file using "Pick from scene" used incorrect path when canceled
    Fixed problem with connections between nodes being misplaced if part of the editor is outside the screen
    Fixed crash when selecting shader from empty shared shader
    Fixed problem with Corona proxy in Full mesh mode not showing in viewport when its center is outside the viewport
    Fixed occasional crashes in Corona Bitmap in multi-tiling mode
    Fixed problem with incorrect photographic exposure when using Team Render
    Fixed problem with camera name not shown in render stamp when using Team Render
    Fixed occassional crashes in scenes with Distance shader (usually reproducible in animations)

    Fixed problem with environment not updating in IR when changing direct visibility material override
    Fixed preview of Corona Normal shader
    Fisheye mapping factor in Corona Camera was not grayed out in non-fisheye projection modes

    Changed:
    Renamed "Recursive" to "Include children" in include/exclude lists accross the UI
    Removed "Render hidden lights" in render settings - this option wasn't doing anything in C4D plugin
    Time limit in render settings no longer allows extended layout with clock widgets as it doesn't make sense in this context
    Removed BVH_SAT option as acceleration structure in devel/experimental settings

    Added option to LightSelect pass to include all lights not included in other LightSelect passes (allows to denoise rest of lights with LightMix)

    Fixed crashes happening when parsing hair for render (already released in 6.1 hotfix 2020-10-08)
    Added initial ability to render multi-instances in IR (improvements and further bug fixes to follow)

    Removed old (pre-v5) version of displacement, old scenes will automatically use current 2.5D displacement

    A longish wait for an update to a beta but here it is at last.
    Some code shifting and optimization but the protection is the same as before.

    Changelog for 2021-03-31 beta:

    Added "Object ID" to supported modes in render selected
    Added "Include children" option to LightSelect pass in multipass
    "Setup interactive LightMix" now correctly handles grouping of lights both using hierarchy or by instancing

    If clearcoat bump shader is not supplied, clear coat does not use any bump-mapping (previously it used bump shader from base layer)
    Added accurate Fresnel for metals using edge color
    Moved translucency to a separate tab and added an option to alter translucency color

    Shaders in value-based material properties like glossiness or radii are now multiplied with amount (Skin material, Hair material and Shadow Catcher)

    NOTE: We are aware of a problem with excessive NaNs reported by some users on macOS. We are working on resolving this issue, but we wanted to release a new version with S24 support as soon as possible.


    Keep in mind that they also changed their rendering to match C4D's one. You'll get a warning about it on the popup log when you work on a scene.
    There's a setting to control this behavior in Corona's section of C4D Preferences.
    If you leave it alone, your scene might render darker than what you expect.

    Very cool roocoon... I got version 7 in September... this shot is re-sized because I have 2- 4k 28" monitors.... Working fine in S24.
    I get the nag screen, but it has been working fine ever since September with my special file at the root of C4d.
    This is just a bunch of spheres testing out some of my Corona shaders. BTW this is "Interactive Viewport" :)

    What's there to skip? As is, I hardly ever drink any.
    The DRAM suffices for basic stuff. The problem is the damn GPU that can't handle the latest crop of software.
    So many gpu cracks to conquer, so little time left...

    So many GPU dreams.... I had planned an RTX 3090 in my machine in February... now it looks like it will never happen. Not paying 4x MSRP!
