Fixed: No dense hair visible in viewport with Optimized Mesh setting
Fixed: Moov physics settings resets on reload when referenced

Fixed: Crash when using Round clumps option with manually selected clumps and a clump pattern
Fixed: "Use Sequential Ids" option doesn't always produce sequential root ids
Fixed: Missing icon in AnimationCache node settings
Fixed: Animation Cache operator playback is out of sync when reloading a scene
Fixed: GenerateStrandData is wrong when using the "is inside object" generation method
Fixed: Some improvements to new circle area interpolation when it comes to curves meshes and irregular guide spacing
Fixed: Moov: Cosserat model bug with root holder

A render with Maya 2018 since I don't have a Vray for 2019 that runs in my laptop.

It's pretty good. Shave and Haircut looks old tech compared to it.

I managed to teamviewer to the machine I use for NEXT and did the same render (still on Maya 2018 -- I can't install 2019 there for lack of space and time).
I knew I'd be upset and I was right.

My render above took 50 minutes on my laptop (only CPU supported)!!
The render with NEXT (some i7, NVidia 1670 and 16 GB RAM) took 1 min 48" for CPU and 27" for GPU !!! Damn. And that's slow for many of you.

    cpu followed by gpu:

Thanks, if they were to make a trial version available, i will play with it for a while :D
I'm currently using Yeti, another good software.
But in Maya there is a free alternative like Xgen, perhaps less user friendly, but still valid.

Just make a dummy account and you'll get access to the download page with the trials.
